Saber’s personal “thank you” and a way to pay it forward for Thanksgiving

thanks-g

Hi, Limestone Realty family and friends:

I just wanted to take this opportunity at this time of year to give a very heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you.

This was our first year of business in Brooklyn, and as we enter the holiday season, I want to show my gratitude to all of you who helped make this adventure smooth, rewarding and memorable.

Without you, there is no way we could have gotten Limestone Realty off the ground. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Also, as a result of your much-appreciated business and referrals, we were able to pay it forward by making substantial contributions to two very helpful community services that change people’s lives every day:

CHiPS: this wonderful organization feeds the hungry and shelters homeless young women and their infants. Based in Brooklyn since 1971, CHiPS prepares hot, nutritious meals and serves them to the hungry in a safe, caring environment. If you care to donate: $100 can feed an adult for three weeks, and $350 shelters a mom and her baby for one month. In addition, 75% of the work is carried out by volunteers, which keeps administrative costs low. Click here to find out how you can help.

Camp Friendship: this non-profit youth organization has been teaching the importance of community since 1976. Its mission is to provide underserved youth with the tools, confidence and support to become healthy, successful and responsible citizens. This is achieved through a combination of team-based and center-based activities, including both academic and sports camps. Your donation can help an underprivileged child benefit from these programs. Click here to make this happen.

I’m a big believer in giving back to the community, especially if I have been blessed enough to have clients like you. We always need to look around and see what we can do to help others. I think of Limestone Realty as a tree that, once nurtured, is able to be fruitful and give back.

I urge you to find out more about these two amazing organizations, and see what you can do to help them change people’s lives.

I love real estate because it’s a people business. This year, good people have been helping me as I get ramped up, and I always look to be helping people too.

For example, it’s important to me to help first-time home buyers navigate the sometimes-scary, complicated process of purchasing a property, and helping them to minimize fees and costs.

I learned that one of the best attributes in helping people is patience – many deals are done in a hurry, in an attempt to grab that commission; however, often a rush job results in the client losing money, or having questions unanswered and concerns unaddressed. By being patient, and providing guidance and counseling, my deals mean much more to me and especially my clients.

Happy Thanksgiving!
